Recapping Digital Nirvana’s 2015 Corporate Social Responsibility Program

Happy New Year! Corporate Social Responsibility is very important to the company culture here at Digital Nirvana, so today we’re taking a look back at last year to share some of our philanthropic efforts of 2015. Our corporate social responsibility program last year included support in both the United States and India to several nonprofits that promote education, provide shelter for the homeless, and aid victims of domestic violence. The guiding principle of Digital Nirvana’s Corporate Social Responsibility program is Continuous Education. Last year, Digital Nirvana adopted a school in each of the cities where its offices reside in India. In the Government High School of Gandhimaanagar, Coimbatore, and the Rani Rudramadevi Primary School, in Sainakpuri, Hyderabad, Digital Nirvana facilitated infrastructure development and provided library materials and sports equipment.  Digital Nirvana’s educational sponsorships throughout the year also included involvement with Vibha – a group that works to provide underprivileged children rights to education, health, and opportunity in America and India. Founded in 1991, Vibha has supported more than 250 projects, and Digital Nirvana is proud to help them in their mission. Digital Nirvana has worked with domestic violence victim advocacy organization SAVE (Safe Alternatives to Violent Environments) for several years. SAVE is a local organization close to Digital Nirvana’s headquarters in Alameda County, California. As with the previous year, Digital Nirvana sponsored SAVE’s annual breakfast in 2015, and continues to support the non-profit’s mission of providing alternatives to domestic violence through support services, advocacy and education. Another nonprofit organization that Digital Nirvana worked with in 2015 is Abode Services – a California nonprofit dedicated to ending homelessness in Alameda, Santa Clara, and Santa Cruz counties. Our corporate social responsibility program last year included sponsoring a breakfast event for Abode Services. The organization is close to the heart of our Co-Founder, President, and CEO, Hiren Hindocha, who currently serves on Abode Services’ Board of Directors. Digital Nirvana is committed to continuing its aid to nonprofit organizations again in 2016, and wishes you a year full of health, happiness and prosperity.
