Newark, CA, March 19, 2014 – Digital Nirvana will bring its newest broadcast monitoring and content delivery solutions to the NAB 2014 convention (Booth SU11017) from April 5-10th at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The company will introduce the latest version of its MediaProTM 2.0 Content Repurposing System, a fast, affordable way to record multiple channels for content rebroadcasting, repurposing and ad verification. This new version of MediaPro includes the ability to record content and share it easily on social media platforms and the cloud.
“We’re excited to now offer Social Media Integration with MediaPro,” said Hiren Hindocha, president and CEO of Digital Nirvana. “Our latest solution helps broadcasters easily record content and then quickly cut, clip and share with social media including Twitter, Facebook and YouTube. Our goal is to provide broadcasters with tools that help them save time and improve productivity.”
With MediaPro 2.0, multiple users can record from one to hundreds of channels using Digital Nirvana’s Open Media Appliance; and then edit, clip, and publish content in real time. Clips can be stored and sent via email or FTP for archiving or external viewing in high- or low-resolution. Even non-technical staff can record from broadcast and cable channels and easily produce hi-res, HD broadcast-ready clips to repurpose and monetize content.
Using Digital Nirvana’s Open Media Appliance, MediaPro offers a wide variety of hybrid input options including: SDI, ASI, IP, QAM, ATSC and the ability to record encrypted HD content with Digital Nirvana’s cable card technology. Media can be exported to Flash, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264 and XDCAM. Web-enabled search can be based on keywords, program titles, descriptions and textual metadata. MediaPro is compatible with all standards-compliant web browsers and does not require the installation of Active X. Digital Nirvana’s MediaPro 2.0 removes the barrier between broadcast and social media for every member of the production team. With its quick and seamless workflow, it’s remarkably fast and easy to share video content with social media and the cloud.
