See Our New Cloud-Based Captioning Services at IBC

The IBC Show is happening next week at the Amsterdam RAI, and the team here at Digital Nirvana is looking forward to showcasing out latest technologies at the event in Hall 14, Stand P25. In addition to our broadcasting solutions, we’ll also be demoing our newest new closed captioning, caption synchronization, video logging, and subtitle generation services.

Making its IBC debut, our new automated closed captioning services facilitate broadcasters and media houses worldwide to have accurate closed captions integrated into their videos. We offer post-production, pop-on, and roll-up captioning services, along with subtitling and caption synchronization. With Digital Nirvana’s flexible program interface, users can set up customized workflows and deliver content in any video format.

With our caption synchronization service, broadcasters can extract captions for a clip that was broadcasted at an earlier period of time, retime captions, and repurpose live broadcast captions for online delivery. The service leverages audio fingerprinting technology to find exact matches of clips specified, and our caption lookup technology alerts users of the presence of captions – saving time and cost to publish.

At IBC we’ll also display our video logging technology, which helps customers better organize their data and improve discoverability, as well as our automated transcription services, which are used in corporate environments to seamlessly stream transcripts of audio files into live workflow.

We hope to see you in Amsterdam! Don’t forget to add us to your show planner, and please contact us if you’d like to schedule a meeting time.

Digital Nirvana recently debuted an automated sports clipping service that’s the first of its kind. Designed to enable broadcasters to easily capture and share every fast-paced moment in a game, the sports clipping service is coupled with automated caption synchronization, empowering users to publish sports media content online and via social media without time lag while complying with new FCC regulations.

The new service automatically analyzes sports broadcasts in real-time and generates ready-to-publish clips of those highlights. It can also generate highlight images and GIFs for customers’ social media promotional activities.

Check out the video below of our CEO, Hiren Hindocha, talking about the new service when we introduced it at the NAB Show earlier this year:

Here’s a snapshot of the new sports clipping service benefits:

  • Offering state-of-the-art workflow and customization capabilities, our sports clipping service reduces manual intervention in broadcast operations while catering to the viewers’ needs and meeting compliance requirements.
  • Enables content creators to easily gather and generate clips from multiple sporting event airings simultaneously, making broadcasters’ operations more efficient.
  • Allows broadcasters to quickly pick and choose content to publish sports clip montages.
  • Reduces the time and cost to publish content.
