Digital Nirvana’s Sponsorship at the 2016 AMEC Summit

The 2016 International Association for Measurement and Evaluation of Communication (AMEC) Summit takes place later this week, June 15-16 in London, and Digital Nirvana will be a Summit Sponsor of the event. AMEC is the growing global trade body and professional institute for agencies and practitioners who provide media evaluation and communication research, and here at Digital Nirvana, we’re looking forward to the conference. Every time we attend AMEC, we gain a deeper understanding of the pain points for media monitoring & measurement. It helps us to better customize our services to address those challenges. At the show, we’ll demonstrate services for media analysis, media content management, news report generation, broadcast news summarization, and transcription at the show. As an end-to-end service provider specializing in TV, Radio, and Print content acquisition, media analysis, and custom reporting for media monitoring companies, AMEC is a great event for us to show off our solutions. Our solutions incorporate both content acquisition and content processing, including: monitoring and recording the content, automatically transcribing and translating the content, identifying key words for search, coding and analysis, report generation, and alert set-up. Centralized Monitoring for Broadcasters Goes Far Beyond Logging

MonitorIQ on iPadAs today’s broadcast plants become increasingly more complex, monitoring systems must become at least as advanced, if not one step ahead, in their sophistication. It’s no longer necessary to maintain separate systems tracking different broadcast parameters with multiple operators running between disparate computers. Nor is that model the most financially sound way to run a broadcast facility. Continue reading Centralized Monitoring for Broadcasters Goes Far Beyond Logging

The Evolution of Monitoring

The ATSC mandate of a June 2009 deadline to transition to digital television marked a turning point in the broadcast industry. While many new digital technologies began impacting station facilities in the 1990’s, by the 2000’s a wave of technological change had swept over the industry radically changing the way broadcast engineers and television stations operated.  Continue reading The Evolution of Monitoring
