What’s New for Digital Nirvana in 2016?

We’re halfway through the year, and here at Digital Nirvana, we’ve announced a number of exciting new offerings in 2016. Check out this video from the NAB show floor earlier this year of our Director of Sales, Dan Wasilko, talking about these new company offerings:

One new initiative is our “Buy-Back” program, which allows those using a competitive compliance monitoring and recording system the opportunity to upgrade it to a new, feature-rich MonitorIQ media management platform.

At NAB, we announced the availability of the latest generation of MonitorIQ. Version 5.0 includes a new, easy-to-use interface for quicker content search and retrieval and it marks the transition away from Flash to HTML5 and HTTP Live Streaming. Available in a SaaS model, it also allows cloud-based recording and OTT stream monitoring, and includes a VOD Server to view content on any connected Smart TV device.

Digital Nirvana is now also offering closed captioning and subtitling services for broadcasters, along with any other applications where video is created and distributed to viewers who may suffer from hearing loss – including schools, houses of worship, hospitals, corporations and government organizations.

Fremont, CA, June 9, 2016 – At Digital Nirvana will be the Summit Sponsor at the International Association for Measurement and Evaluation of Communication(AMEC)Summit, June 15-16 in London. AMEC is the growing global trade body and professional institute for agencies and practitioners who provide media evaluation and communication research.

“This conference gives us a wonderful opportunity to connect with potential customers and discuss our solutions,” said Hiren Hindocha, CEO of Digital Nirvana. “Every time we attend AMEC we walk away with a much deeper understanding of the pain points for media monitoring & measurement and we’re better able to customize our services to address those challenges.

“In response to customer feedback received at previous AMEC shows, we’ve tailored our solutions to include a multi-language media monitoring & analysis service and developed cost-effective solutions to acquire and monitor broadcast & print content which was something small to mid-sized firms have trouble doing. Digital Nirvana is well positioned to provide global broadcast content acquisition to these companies so they can maintain their customer relationships and meet their clients’ needs.”

In today’s digital world, broadcasters and content creators must share relevant, timely social media content to stay engaged with their audiences. To do that, media access and program recording with high-powered performance and efficiency is necessary. Ideally that process should be incorporated into an existing workflow, and here at Digital Nirvana, we’ve built that capability right into our monitoring system with our CableCARD technology.

CableCARD technology allows users to to easily access and record programming from cable networks and local broadcasters with direct feeds from the cable service provider without using a set top box. One cable card can record up to six channels simultaneously, and customers can change channels manually or automatically to record specific programming using the MonitorIQ Program Guide.

This technology allows for users to record and share content with greater ease. Other benefits include cost efficiency and an effective use of space. To read more about our CableCARD technology, check out our newly published application brief here.
