Digital Nirvana’s Sponsorship at the 2016 AMEC Summit

The 2016 International Association for Measurement and Evaluation of Communication (AMEC) Summit takes place later this week, June 15-16 in London, and Digital Nirvana will be a Summit Sponsor of the event.

AMEC is the growing global trade body and professional institute for agencies and practitioners who provide media evaluation and communication research, and here at Digital Nirvana, we’re looking forward to the conference. Every time we attend AMEC, we gain a deeper understanding of the pain points for media monitoring & measurement. It helps us to better customize our services to address those challenges.

At the show, we’ll demonstrate services for media analysis, media content management, news report generation, broadcast news summarization, and transcription at the show. As an end-to-end service provider specializing in TV, Radio, and Print content acquisition, media analysis, and custom reporting for media monitoring companies, AMEC is a great event for us to show off our solutions. Our solutions incorporate both content acquisition and content processing, including: monitoring and recording the content, automatically transcribing and translating the content, identifying key words for search, coding and analysis, report generation, and alert set-up.

The Advantages of Using a Media Monitoring Solution with CableCARD Technology

In today’s digital world, broadcasters and content creators must share relevant, timely social media content to stay engaged with their audiences. To do that, media access and program recording with high-powered performance and efficiency is necessary. mediapro NAB 2014 no logoIdeally that process should be incorporated into an existing workflow, and here at Digital Nirvana, we’ve built that capability right into our monitoring system with our CableCARD technology.

CableCARD technology allows users to to easily access and record programming from cable networks and local broadcasters with direct feeds from the cable service provider without using a set top box. One cable card can record up to six channels simultaneously, and customers can change channels manually or automatically to record specific programming using the MonitorIQ Program Guide.

This technology allows for users to record and share content with greater ease. Other benefits include cost efficiency and an effective use of space. To read more about our CableCARD technology, check out our newly published application brief here.
